Weekend Update

Our weekend wasn’t exactly what we had expected, but it turned out to be wonderful nonetheless.

Friday we played our final regular season softball game and defended our league champ title by winning in the bottom of the last inning. Instead of going out like we usually do, Sean and I made a trip to urgent care (as though we haven’t spent enough time in doctor’s offices these past few months). Thankfully they gave him a shot and some medicine for an infection he had in his hand and sent us on our way (just in time to feed our rumbling tummies before Chipotle closed).

{One of the fish at the doctor's office - I had way too much fun trying to snap his photo while we waited!}

We spent the majority of Saturday at the ball fields, again, for our tournament. Unfortunately, it did not go as planned and we were very quickly eliminated. But, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we all needed some down time on Sunday. We grabbed a late lunch after our last game and then went home for a much-needed nap. Later, I headed to our high school reunion with 3 of my closest friends. We stopped for a couple drinks on our way, and then met up with everyone at the reunion. We had a great time catching up with people and reminiscing about years that feel SO long ago!

{Even though it doesn't look like it, we did a lot more than just sitting around}

Sunday was a nice, low-key day. We ran errands, enjoyed time around the house, and celebrated my mom’s birthday with a delicious dinner!

How was your weekend?

  1. Which reunion was this for you? And where did you go to high school? I have my 10 year coming up in Nov (should have been this summer, but they were slow to plan it). Crazy to think about seeing people I haven't seen in 10 years!
